Adele Filene Travel Award

Purpose:
To assist the travel of a CSA Student Member to that year's CSA national symposium to present either a juried paper or poster.

Description:
The Adele Filene Travel Award in the amount of up to $500 is awarded annually on a competitive basis to CSA members currently enrolled as students to assist their travel to CSA national symposia to present either a juried paper or a research exhibit. Included as part of travel costs are: airfare, mileage to and from home to airport, parking at airport, bus or taxi fare to and from hotel, mileage if traveling by private auto and hotel parking during symposium.

Requirements:
Candidates must be members of the Costume Society of America, registered students, and have a paper accepted by the jury. An application must be filled out.

Deadline:
Completed applications must be postmarked by March 1 of each year.
