Professional Development Grants Members are invited to apply for a Professional Development Grant offered by Southeastern Region VI. Awards will be made at a minimum of $250 with the total award not to exceed $1000. Look here for more information, or contact Dr. Ann Beth Presley. Mini-Meetings Funding is available each year to support mini-meetings within the Region by providing monies required to publicize these events (up to $125 per meeting). Meetings can be designed around a local event such as a theatrical performance or museum exhibition and can be in partnership with an organization, an historic home, a museum, or a bordering CSA region. These smaller versions of the Region’s annual symposium are encouraged because they not only provide local CSA members with costume programming but also foster interest in costume topics among potential members. "Preserving Our Past" Lecture Series "Preserving Our Past" is a series of lectures on identifying, dating, cleaning, displaying, storing and preserving historic garments and textiles. This lecture series, intended primarily for staff at local museums and also for independent collectors and persons interested in costume preservation, is offered annually, in conjunction with our annual meeting and symposium.
