Terms and Conditions


COSTS
The Study Tour to England is $3,495 per person, based on double occupancy. The tax-deductible contribution of fees not used for goods and services will be determined after the tour and participants will be notified. Full-time, matriculating students are eligible for a $50 reduction with the final payment. Proof of student status must be presented.

AIR TRANSPORTATION
Round-trip transatlantic air transportation from New York (JFK) to London in coach class on British Airways is covered under these arrangements, as well as US and British departure taxes. HOTELS
Twelve (12) nights accommodation at First Class hotels as listed below, with private bath, will be provided based on double occupancy. Single room supplement is $597.00 per person. Hotel service charges and Value Added Tax (VAT) is included. Hotels: In Bath -The Francis Hotel. In London - Holiday Inn South Kensington.

MEALS
Full English breakfast will be provided daily in Bath, and Continental breakfast will be provided in London. A Welcome Dinner is included on June 24th at the Francis Hotel in Bath. Other included meals are listed in the Itinerary.

TRANSFERS & BAGGAGE
By private air-conditioned deluxe motor coach between transportation terminals, airports, and hotels and vice-versa as indicated in the itinerary. Round-trip train ticket (2nd class) from London Waterloo station to Hampton Court and back on July 3rd is included. Each passenger is allowed one normal-size suitcase, plus one carry-on piece of hand luggage. All luggage is carried at owner's risk. It is recommended that baggage insurance be obtained from Millennium Tours.

NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE
Passport, Visa (non-US Citizens), personal and/or baggage insurance, excess baggage, meals not specified in the terms and conditions page, optional tours, entrance fees, all items of a personal nature such as laundry, cleaning, telephone or telegraph expenses, beverages, wine, liquors, soft drinks, tips to Drivers and Local Guides, and any other items not specifically mentioned as included in the itinerary and terms and conditions page.

DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT
A deposit of $550.00 per person is required by December 15, 2002. No reservations considered firm until deposit received. Second payment of $1,250.00 is due by February 15, 2003; Final payment of $1,695.00 is due by April 25, 2003. Failure to pay by this date may result in registration cancellation and forfeiture of deposit. Deposits will be processed in order of receipt.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Monies will be refunded upon receipt of cancellation in writing to Millennium Tours less the following cancellation penalties:

Up to January 22, 2003 $ 250.00 per person
January 23 to April 22, 2003 $ 550.00 per person
April 23 to May 21, 2003 $ 950.00 per person
After May 22, 2003 $ 1,450.00 per person

Plus British Airways will assess a penalty if airline tickets cancelled or altered after May 22, 2003 (30 days prior to departure date). This fee may be waived if cancellation due to death of passenger or immediate family member. Cancellation insurance is available from Millennium Tours and is strongly recommended.

RESPONSIBILITY
Millennium Tours, Costume Society of America, and their agents for the passenger in regard to travel, whether by motor coach, ferry, train or airplane, assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned, either by reason of defect in any vehicle, ferry, aircraft or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. They can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the air or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, terrorist actions, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the times stated. The right is reserved to substitute hotel of similar quality. The right is reserved to make minor changes in the itinerary, and the right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure, in which case full refund will constitute full settlement to the passenger. No refund will be made for any unused portion of the tour. The passenger ticket in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tickets and/or the passenger. The airline concerned, their agents, or affiliates, are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, terrorist attacks or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft. The tour cost is based on tariffs and currency exchange rates in effect as of September 14, 2002, and is also based on a minimum of 20 paying participants traveling together.
