This is the successful slogan of the CSA Endowment.
After formally organizing in early 2007, the CSA Endowment Board of Trustees is proud to announce that with the generous contributions of many CSA members it has been able to create earnings to assume sponsorship of the following CSA honors:
- Millia Davenport Award ($500.00)
- 2 Richard Martin Exhibition Awards ($500.00 each)
- Adele Filene Student Presenter Grant ($500.00)
- Stella Blum Research Grant ($1000.00, partial funding)
- Angels Project ($2000.00, partial funding)
An elected Board of Trustees manages the CSA Endowment. Contributions in any amount are always welcomed and appreciated. Donations are fully tax deductible in the US and are placed in the principal and will remain there in perpetuity. Only monies earned are used to fund awards, grants or projects. Once CSA Endowment assumes sponsorship, that funding is ongoing.
Contributing CSA members are annually recognized at symposia and in the CSA News. Contributions are often designated to honor a colleague or as a memorial. The Dress Society honors those giving for a minimum of five continuous years. The 1973 Legacy Society honors those that have included the CSA Endowment in their will.
