Job description:
J. Scheer & Co. specializes in cleaning, conservation and museum-quality storage for couture and designer apparel. We are in search of an entry-level textile conservator to join our team full-time in beautiful Rhinebeck, NY. Successful candidate will have excellent hand-sewing skills, be organized and responsible, learn quickly, and work well under pressure. Schedule is a standard Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30 with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in textile/apparel conservation, either through formal training or apprenticeship. Knowledge of basic archival storage principles and Best Practices.
