Qualifications:
The position requires basic computer knowledge including creating and emailing Word documents, some image capture and photo editing, and proficiency in the use of Adobe Reader editing/commenting features. The Editor works closely with a contracted designer in the production of CSA News and a small team of proofreaders. Candidates with experience in writing/editing are sought. Previous experience as a regional newsletter editor within the organization is ideal but not necessary. Regular attendance at regional and national events is expected and a stipend of $2500 is provided to offset expenses.

Responsibilities:
The Managing Editor for CSA News is responsible for gathering, writing, and editing stories for the CSA News, the national newsletter of the Costume Society of America which is published quarterly. The position requires a commitment of four years, with the option to serve additional terms.
