Kelly Reddy-Best

Kelly Reddy-Best is an associate professor in Apparel, Merchandising, and Design and director and curator of the Textiles and Clothing Museum at Iowa State University. In her research she examines the interrelationships of dress and identity. Much of her work is rooted in social justice with aims to promote social change related to how our bodies are regulated by cultural norms and politics. She also writes on the history of queer fashions and styles. She has taught courses across the apparel curriculum in design, product development, merchandising, culture, and history.
