Adam MacPhàrlain

Adam MacPhàrlain is the Curator of Clothing and Textiles at the Missouri Historical Society in St. Louis, Missouri. He was previously the Curatorial Assistant of Fashion Arts and Textiles at the Cincinnati Art Museum, and he has curated/co-curated costume exhibitions at the Art Museum and for Eastern Kentucky University. Adam holds a Master’s in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor’s in Apparel Design and Merchandising from Eastern Kentucky University. He has been a member of CSA since 2008 and has served on regional boards for the Southeast and Midwest. He has also presented at conferences on topics ranging from French fashion dolls to handwoven textiles from Churchill Weavers.
