The Parliamentarian is responsible for providing guidance to the Board of Directors and to the Executive Committee on following and updating our Constitution, By-Laws and Policies and Procedures, and consults the most current version of Robert’s Rules of Order for guidance should CSA documentation fail to provide information on points of order.

Leigh Southward is an associate professor in the Apparel Merchandising and Product Development major at the University of Arkansas, where History of Costume and socio-psychological aspects of dress are among her favorite courses to teach. She earned a Ph.D. and an M.S. degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi University for Women. Prior to a career in college teaching, she held various positions in the retailing industry including buying, visual merchandising, and personnel management.
